A year ago today, 12 August 2023, an amazing gift and fulfilled prophetic word impacted me in a way that no other word has yet.

Here's the backstory…

For 5 years our good friends, J and S, had tried for a baby but struggled.

• irregular period

• abnormal ovulation

• diagnosed with PCOS

• told she wouldn’t fall pregnant (at least naturally)

• and the 10+ negative pregnancy tests over that time only seemed to affirm it

You can imagine the doubt, fear, and even grief this can create. On September 4 2021, I randomly got a prophetic word that they would conceive. So I passed it on, and reminded them that God's word is higher than the doctors, and to choose truth over facts. After a year, they hadn’t yet conceived but remained hopeful and trusted God. J's dad had also just given them the same prophetic word. On September 8 2022, we invited them over to our home, laid hands on them, and blessed them to receive their baby. 4 months later, as they were about to begin IVF treatment, the doctor said to take a pregnancy test as a precautionary. Treatment would likely affect baby if she was pregnant. The test came back positive. She took 5 more tests to double-check.

All positive.

They took a blood test to triple-check.

Positive.

And then they booked a scan to quadruple-check.

They were 12 weeks pregnant and did not need to begin IVF treatment. She had fallen pregnant within a month or so of us laying hands and blessing them, and she had no idea. But here’s where it gets even better… Baby was born on my birthday – a week before his due date. And as they introduced him to me, they said they always planned to give him my name: Knox Lee Seumanufagai It was one of the best birthday presents and birthdays spent so far. And it was special to celebrate his 1st birthday over the weekend.

A special boy from the heart of heaven that has touched many hearts and reminds us of God's goodness. You can’t script this.
