Here in NZ there's been a lot of coverage lately about the Treaty Principles Bill and the Haka in parliament.
If you've followed me over the years, you’ll know I store prophetic words in my phone – as the date gets logged automatically for integrity.
Back in 2021, I publicly shared a word about Māori culture being "revived, sanctified, and more widely cherished" (Oct 2021) – watch it here
In 2022, I publicly shared another about justice to the Treaty of Waitangi, along with the exposing of bribery, deceit, and betrayal within, both, Waitangi and Govt (Mar 2022) – watch it here and here
The screenshot below is from June 2 2024:

I don’t yet have permission to share the full word.
But here's what I can say:
This is not the way God is going to do it.
It's hard to see the division and separatism, and even the celebration of it.
Many will be unnecessarily fractured this way.
Be discerning of the "prince of the power of the air." (Eph 2:2)
Pray for wisdom, humility, and for ears to hear and eyes to see God's transcendent path of restoration.
His way is higher, bringing healing & oneness. His vision for Mãori & NZ is beautifully redemptive, and it will be a light to the world that many will come to see and be blessed by.
But it will happen His way, not ours.
Our ways are always limited, fragile and hurtful.
His ways are always full of honor, healing and hope for all people, without degrading or dishonoring another.
Kingdom Perspectives Matter
Division has a sneaky way of showing up in different forms, but it’s the same tactic—pulling people apart, and often doing so while pretending to bring them together.
When division is cloaked like this, it’s especially dangerous. It catches us off guard, plays on our emotions, and leads to confusion.
Without a Kingdom perspective, we can end up stuck in cycles of awareness and blindness, and that only adds to our frustration and pain.
The key is staying aligned with Heaven.
True wisdom starts with honoring God, and humility opens the door to see things clearly. When we walk with God, division—no matter how good it looks on the surface—starts to lose its grip.
Let’s keep our eyes and hearts tuned to what God is saying. That’s where clarity and peace come from.
He who has an ear, let him hear.
David Seymour
To throw a spanner in the works, here's what somebody randomly shared with us back in Feb 2024 at our gathering...

I have no position on this word right now, and I'm not particularly a fan of David – I remember what he said about us non-jabbed back in 2022, lol.
But it reminds me to always be slow to speak and quick to go to God first before settling in my offenses.
Not always easy.
It also reminded me of the prophetic word I publicly shared in Oct 2021 that said:
"People whom we thought good will be found not. People whom we thought bad will be found not. Not all are as they appear to be in the public eye." (Sep 2021) – watch it here
Again, I have no position right now. I'm simply observing everything, looking back to the words shared so far, and seeking His perspective on it all – especially because the shift is global.
Let's see what happens.
Nonetheless...
"Mãori culture will be revived, sanctified and more widely cherished." (Oct 2021)
More to share later.
God does defend NZ.
"When Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with sword in hand.
Joshua went up to him and demanded, “Are you for us or against us?
“Neither,” he replied. “I am the commander of the LORD’s army.”
At this, Joshua fell with his face to the ground in reverence. "I am at your command", Joshua said. “Tell me what to do.” – Joshua 5:13-14
Questions for reflection
1. How can I seek God's transcending and higher perspective on everything right now?
2. How can I respond to the tension, division and differences with agape love?
3. If God is both justice and mercy, truth and love, how do I approach current situations while holding both in harmony (not favoring one over the other)? Remember: Truth without love is legalism and brutality. Love without truth is compromise and perversion.
We need both.
Wanting for justice doesn't mean withholding mercy. Extending mercy doesn't mean excusing justice. Both can be upheld simultaneously – the cross epitomizes that.
Bless you
Lee
