Some of you are not succeeding in your current place because it’s not what you were designed for.
What if the problem isn’t you—but the environment you’re in?
You’re not alone.
So many people feel stuck and frustrated, not because they lack effort or talent, but because they’re misplaced.
It’s not your design that’s the problem. It’s the placement.
Think about a tree...
If you plant it in the wrong soil, it won’t grow. It doesn’t matter how much water, sunlight, or care you give—it’s not the right environment.
It’s the same with you.
Maybe this place and season was meant to prepare you for what’s next. But when you convince yourself this is the only way, or fear letting others down, you create a trap that keeps you stuck in a place that’s no longer for you.
Learning to stay married to Jesus – and not my assignments or seasons – has been valuable in my journey.
Leaving doesn’t mean quitting. It means stepping into the next stage.
God designed you with unique gifts, strengths, and purpose. When you’re in the right place, those qualities flourish naturally.
If you’re constantly frustrated, spinning your wheels, or seeing no progress, it might be time to ask:
"Am I trying to grow in the wrong place?"
"He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul." – Psalm 23:2-3
Here’s what you can do:
1. Take a step back
Ask yourself: Does this environment fit the way God designed me? Am I forcing something that doesn’t align with who I am?
2. Reflect on where you’ve thrived before
Think about roles, places, or seasons where you felt peace, energy, and growth. Those are clues to the “soil” you need. A small tweak could change everything.
3. Be willing to move
Sometimes, the right place isn’t the easiest place to find, but it’s worth the search.
When you’re in the right environment, growth feels natural. Peace replaces frustration. Progress becomes inevitable.
You’re not broken or failing—you’re just misplaced.
Let go of trying to force what doesn’t fit. Trust that God has the right place for you, and let Him guide you there.
The best is still ahead for you.

Questions for reflection
1. Does my current environment align with the way God designed me to thrive?
2. Where have I experienced peace, growth, and energy before, and how can I recreate those conditions now?
3. Am I holding on to a place or season out of fear or obligation, rather than trusting God to lead me to where I will flourish?
Bless you
