Over the past month, I’ve watched my wife, Tash, grow into an even stronger, more confident version of herself.
She’s still the same Tash, but it’s like she’s stepped into something deeper – closer to God’s original design for her.
And it all started when she faced a big fear head-on.
Fear is real She’d found a 2-in-1 course and business that excited her.
For context, she’d been searching for something to nurture our daughter's entrepreneurial spirit, and this aligned perfectly with our values. The fear? Judgment from other Christians. It’s sad to admit, but that fear was very real. We’ve been self-employed for over 10 years, both of us with an entrepreneurial mindset, and we choose to live a life that looks different from the majority. In that time, we’ve seen how critical – and even judgmental – Christians can be about the topic of money and business. Naturally, this hesitation crept in for Tash. But she didn’t stay there long. She stepped up, faced the giant of fear head-on, and took its head off. When she did, it was like an explosion of peace, love, and joy poured out of her. She kept saying, “I feel so different. I feel so good. I feel so excited.” Courage will do that.
Watching her come alive has been like watching a flower bloom right before my eyes.
Enjoying the fruit
Since then, she’s leaned into the digital world – trying things she’d normally avoid, even tech!
And with just 30-40% of her focus, she would go on to generate over $3,000 in 27 days, just by sharing what she’s learning.
She started with a course that not only taught her the basics of digital marketing, but also allowed her to resell it and keep 100% of the profit.
It’s been both fulfilling and practical – learning and earning at the same time.
Fast forward to the end of her first full month, and Tash made $5255.11 in the month of October.
Automated – while she sleeps.
No compromising her values.
Beginner-friendly.
That’s not just numbers – it’s real growth.
And what stands out to me the most isn’t the money – it’s her courage.
Stepping out of her comfort zone, facing that fear, and embracing this new path has opened her up in ways I never expected.
Discomfort is normal
It's very normal to experience fear and discomfort when you step into something new – it's part of growth – but few are willing to face it.
This is why courage is the separator between "same old" and "the new."
Courage doesn't mean you never have fear. It means you can have fear but you act anyway. Don't let fear trick you.
Seeing her pull the trigger with courage will forever be my favorite part of her journey.
Why?
Because courage always opens you up to your next step, greater clarity, and increasing goodness.
And I'm watching it happen in real-time for her. So proud!
Wow! As I'm finishing up writing this, she has just made another sale – her first for the month of November, and on November the 1st.
Great start to her birthday month too!
What about you?
I’m sharing this because maybe you’re feeling that nudge too.
Maybe there’s something you feel called to try, but fear is holding you back.
If so, let Tash’s story remind you: everything you’re looking for is on the other side of fear and outside of your comfort zone.
If you never leave your comfort zone, you'll never leave your comfort zone.
If you want to walk on water, you have to be willing to step out of the boat.
A mentor once told me: fear never produces life nor the kingdom.
It takes courage, and God is ready and available to meet you in it.
Go for it!

Questions for reflection:
1. What fear might be holding me back from stepping into what God has designed for me?
2. If courage opened the door to my next level, what would that look like in my life?
3. Where is God inviting me to take a step, even if it feels outside my comfort zone?
Bless you,
Lee
